Site survey
Location (address, google map)
- directions
- proximity of parking or other transportation
Include photos of location
Dimensions of space:
- Height, width, depth
- Location of columns if any
- Colors on walls and floor – can they be changed
- What surfaces can you attach to?
- What tools and connectors will be needed?
Visit at same time of day and day of week as work will be exhibited and comment on:
- light levels
- Sound levels
- Traffic patterns
- Power (AC – number and amperage of circuits, and where are circuit breakers)
If outdoors,
- do you have permission to use a particular space?
- can you run an extension cord?
- from where, for how long?
- how will you avoid people tripping on it?
- Does the circuit have a ground fault interrupter?
Other conditions:
- Interior or exterior
- Security (can it be locked, who has the key, when are they there)
