Battery Setup
The battery for the VX2000, like most Video Cameras is located opposite end of the lens.
Before you begin removing the battery make sure that the camera is turned off, as if you take the batter out with the camera on you will lose any presets as well as possibly damage the video footage.
Once the camera is completely off flip the eye piece up, so that the entire top of the battery is showing.
On the top right corner on the back of the camera there is a button that says release. Press and hold the release button, and pull up gently on the battery. It will unlock and you can easily separate them.
To return the better just put it back in the proper position and push down until the battery snaps back into place.
