As a basis for or additional resource information for your final project, conduct and edit an interview (audio or audio+video)

For the interviewer:

1. What do you want to know? what information is important for the audience?

2. What questions can you ask that don't foreclose upon unanticipated results, or

3. how can you ask questions that open up rather than close down communication?

4. What environmental or attitudinal factors could facilitate or inhibit communication?


For Veterans (sample questions):


1. When did you serve, and for how long?

2. What led you to join the service (what were your circumstances)

2a. What did you hope to achieve by serving?

2b. Do you think you did achieve that?

3. where and what were you assigned to do?

3a. what was that experience like for you?

4. What was it like when you came back?
