IAM Project 2 due

Class Goals

  1. Discuss design processes
  2. Walk through a sample design process with CSS

Advanced Design

Interaction Design

Review how designing an interactive piece differs from designing a static or expositional piece

Although there are many websites online, very few of them are actually interactive. Interactivity is not simply allowing a person to click on something (in fact, in some poorly designed cases this results in just "extra effort").

Levels of interaction

  1. Access to content
  2. Chooosing path through content
  3. Environmental changes

CSS Design
