The studios are located in the 600 S Michigan Building, 15th floor. Note, there are four elevators that stop on 14th floor... you would need to use the stairs to climb the last flight, or take one of the two elevators closest to Michigan Ave to go directly to 15.

The studio has staff and student workers based in the engineering room, room 1503. Phone number 312.369.7408 Questions about the facility should be directed to Kevin Kantorski, Chief Television Engineer.

Ideally, you will shoot and edit your footage in that resolution, but that if often not the case.

Studio Usage

The studios are available to be used by students in television studio production and field editing classes, as well as other Cinema and Television students. Reservations can be made using space.colum.edu. After logging in, navigate to the TV Studio Request Form.
