I would recommend photocopying the pages from Pause and Effect (154-161, 163-166, 170-176) to accompany this one, as architectural tactics are discussed as a model for interactive interfaces.
This assignment asks students to consider the structure of a site as an equal partner in conveying content.
Students are asked to use their own home/apartment as a metaphor for a website (in which each page corresponds to each room), which will convey their choice of theme/topic. Site structure, navigation, presentation and content should all be coordinated to ensure that the home metaphor will grant their topic potency.
