Looking at the front, on the left side of the HD-P2 is slot of the Compact Flash Card.
When you want to remove the compact flash medium make sure that the recorder has been fully powered down the screen is not showing signs of rebooting
To eject the card or card place holder, pull up on the black tab/lever that is located on the left side of the card itself. Once that has been flipped up, push down on it from the top (without folding it back up) and the Compact Flash card will eject.
