Equipment Restrictions and Clearance

If you have taken a class already and believe that you should have clearance for something, please bring a copy of your transcript to the Equipment Cave and we will assist you in getting cleared.

|- |Audio (Intermediate) |Take Sound and Motion or any sound class above MTD2. |-

|- |Audio (Professional) |Take Sound and Motion or any sound class above MTD2. |-

|- |Photo (Basic) |Available to all IAM students. |-

|- |Photo (Intermediate) |Take MTD1 or DID. |-

|- |Photo (Professional) |Take 2D Imaging or attend a professional photography training session. |-

|- |Video (Basic) |Available to all IAM students. |-


|- |Video (Intermediate) |Take MTD2, Sound and Motion, or attend an SD video training session. |-


|- |Video (Professional) |Take Sound and Motion or attend an SD video training session. |-

|- |Tripods (Pro) |Take Sound and Motion or attend a tripod training session. |-

|- |Lights |Take Sound and Motion or attend a light kit training session. |-

|- |Projectors |Available to staff members and students taking Public Art or IAM Practicum. |-

|- |Laptops |MTD2 AND OOP. MTD2 must be completed but OOP can still be in progress. Check the Student's schedule no matter what. |-

|- |Computer Peripherals |All students can rent computer peripherals. |-

|- |Training Software |All students can rent training software. |-

|- |Video Games |All students can rent video games. Video games are only available in the game lab and may not leave the premises. |- }
