Tips
What is PHANTOM POWER????? 
Phantom Power should be on when your microphones has NO internal batterys. The ones provided do use batterys that are provided. Turn OFF phantom power if you are useing these microphones. IF for some reason you have a mic that doesnt have its own internal power then by all means turn phantom power on to supply some of the TASCAM juice to it otherwise it will not work. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_power
