Telephoto Lens
There are two ways to telephoto zoom on the VX2000. Right above the DV tape chassis and the hand strap is a button that is marked with a T and a W. The T is for telephoto and zooms you in, and the W is for wide angle and zooms you out.
To get a more refined zoom there is the zoom ring which is located towards the front of the camera. Of the two rings on the front of the camera the zoom ring is the smaller ring farthest from the lens.
