ProTools Dongle iLOK
What Is It?
This is a usb dongle that provides the user with the ability to license ProTools, thus allowing them to use it without problems.
Why The Fancy Green Lanyard?
This allows you to wear your iLok, that you have checked out, everywhere and hopefully making it so you don't lose it. It also allows us, the workers to instantly know that you are using our property.
Where Can You Use It?
This dongle only works in the sound booth. You need to also checkout that facility in order for this dongle to work for you.
What happens if you use Protools with out the dongle?!
When launched, ProTools will prompt you with a dialog that says the software is unlicensed and will then proceed to close. To avoid this misfortune, use this dongle!!
How to Use
To use the dongle, simply plug it in, wait for the drivers to be installed, and then launch ProTools!
