Neutral Density Filter

The ND filters (neutral Density Filters) switch is located right behind the telephoto zoom ring at the front of the camera.

It's primary function is to allow you to maximize your exposure even when you have set the shutter speed to as low as it can go (lower shutter speed = greater exposure) while taking a picture.

The VX2000 automatically tells you what your ND filter setting should be (none, 1 or 2) in the display while you are photographing (it's just cool like that).
