It is really good to see developers of video games take the time out of their busy schedules to blog us about the game that they are working on. But it is blogs like this that make me wonder why the developer even posted it to begin with. The first ¾ of the blog didn’t even pertain to this game. As video game players, we want to know about production, problems or features to name a few that are apparent in the game. Not about Juno winning best original screenplay.
He writes “I was going to kick things off with a rant about Juno winning the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, but that has nothing to do with the game and it’s not as if the Oscars mean anything to me anyway. I would just be jumping on the backlash bandwagon, and it’s rolling along well enough without my help. Still, a script that contains the line “Honest to blog?” should be disqualified for any and all writing honors.”
This has nothing to do with games, but rather the subject of blogging. This is called a developer blog. So talk about the development of your game. On the other side of the coin, he gave us other potential names for the game that his company was thinking about using. Thank you for that.
